Practice Makes Purpose

I believe education should be as creative and dynamic as the world students are preparing to enter.

By day, I teach entrepreneurship, soft skills, and career development—courses that go beyond memorization. These subjects require self-awareness, adaptability, and vision. In my classroom, we don’t just talk about personal branding—students build portfolios, write cold outreach emails, and practice networking in real-time.

Through life-mapping projects and role play exercises, I help students connect their strengths to real-world paths—college, trade, entrepreneurship, or something entirely their own. We learn by doing.

I also integrate tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and AI simulations to help students ideate, prototype, and pitch their own business ideas. These platforms don’t replace their thinking—they sharpen it. They turn big dreams into testable, tangible steps.

As a first-generation college grad, I teach from experience. I know what it’s like to forge your own path without a roadmap. That’s why mentorship and psychological safety are core to my practice. I want my students to feel seen, heard, and safe to take risks—even if they fall a few times first.

My work as an educator and as the founder of Ven Camilo Photography are deeply connected. I practice what I teach, and that duality is what keeps both worlds honest.
